Fotowatio secures financing for 342MW PV portfolio in Mexico
Utility-scale PV project developer Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has reached financial close for the 342MW Potosí Solar Farm in Mexico. The project, which stands as FRV’s first to be operated in Mexico. FRV closed the financing agreement with KFW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau), Bancomext and ING.

Daqo finds quick CEO replacement in former JinkoSolar CFO
Dr. Gongda Yao with a former JinkoSolar CFO, Longgen Zhang, were quickly replaced by China-based polysilicon producer Daqo New Energy. Daqo said that Zhang had been appointed the new CEO with immediate effect, enabling its founder and chairman, Guangfu Xu to step down from the acting CEO role. Dr. Yao was
